This Privacy Policy explains how FiviParallel, bundle identifier com.fivi.parallelweb (“FiviParallel”, “the app”, “we”, “us” or “our”), handles information. FiviParallel provides isolated web sessions protected by an optional whole-app lock.
Information kept on your device
FiviParallel stores the following information locally:
- slot metadata, including slot names, order and reconnect state;
- whether onboarding has been completed;
- app-lock settings, a randomly salted hash of your six-digit PIN, failed-attempt information and biometric preference in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore-backed secure storage; and
- a separate on-device WebView partition for each slot. A partition may contain cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, HTTP cache and service-worker data created by the website you use.
Your PIN itself is not stored. Biometric templates are managed by your device operating system and are not available to us.
When you open a website in a slot, that website communicates directly with your device and handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. FiviParallel does not extract, read, copy or send your message content, contacts or media to us. We do not operate a backend server for your sessions.
Deleting or resetting a slot permanently requests deletion of that slot’s local WebView partition and logs out that web session. Other slots are not affected. Removing the app may also remove local app data, subject to your operating system’s backup and retention behaviour.
Advertising
The free version uses Google AdMob to show non-personalised ads on native app screens only. Ads are never placed over or inside web content. AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions, device information and diagnostics to deliver, limit, secure and measure ads. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS and do not use personalised advertising.
Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google’s partner sites policy and provides further controls at My Ad Centre.
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) presents privacy choices before advertising services are enabled. You can review or withdraw eligible consent at any time through Settings > Ad privacy choices. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Ads may be limited or unavailable where a lawful basis or required consent is absent.
Purchases
FiviParallel offers a one-time remove-ads purchase through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat helps verify the purchase and maintain the ad_free entitlement. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, store, product and transaction information, entitlement status, purchase history, device/app information and diagnostics. It does not receive your payment-card details from FiviParallel; the applicable app store processes payment.
RevenueCat’s privacy practices are described in its Privacy Policy. Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy also applies to store transactions.
Purposes and sharing
We use local information to provide slot management, session separation and app-lock functionality. We use SDK information to provide and measure non-personalised ads, prevent fraud, diagnose service problems, verify purchases and restore entitlements.
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with Google and its advertising partners, RevenueCat, Apple or Google Play for the purposes described above; with authorities where legally required; or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. Each third party processes information under its own privacy terms.
Retention and control
Local slot metadata and partitions remain on your device until you delete a slot, reset the app or uninstall it, subject to operating-system backups. App-lock material remains until you disable the lock, reset app data or uninstall the app, subject to platform secure-storage behaviour. Google, RevenueCat and the app stores retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
You can:
- delete or reset an individual slot to remove its local session;
- disable the app lock to remove its active lock configuration;
- change eligible advertising choices in Settings > Ad privacy choices;
- restore a purchase through Settings > Restore purchases; and
- contact us about a privacy request at
contact@fiviparallel.cc.
We may need information sufficient to locate an SDK record, such as a transaction reference or anonymous app user identifier. We cannot access or delete message content held by a website or an account held by a third-party service.
Accounts and account deletion
FiviParallel does not create or operate user accounts. There is therefore no FiviParallel account to delete. Deleting a slot logs out that local web session and erases its on-device partition; it does not delete the account with the third-party service. To delete an account with that service, use the service’s own account controls.
Children
FiviParallel is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own systems. Because users can access unrestricted web and user-generated content, store age ratings and the target audience are set accordingly.
International processing and security
Google, RevenueCat and the app stores may process information in countries other than your own and use the transfer safeguards described in their policies. We use platform sandboxing, secure operating-system storage and encrypted network connections supported by the relevant services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product, SDK, legal or operational changes. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law.
